CHAZ Training School has been a launchpad for my career in nursing. The instructors are incredible, making sure every concept is fully understood and that you're truly prepared to apply your skills in the real world. Thanks to my experience at CHAZ, I was able to work as a Nurse Aide, gain valuable clinical experience, and now, I’m about to start nursing school at Johns Hopkins University. I couldn’t have done it without CHAZ Training School. -Lana F
The CHAZ CNA course was one of the best decisions I made for my career. The program was fast-paced, but the instructors made sure we thoroughly understood all the clinical skills. Thanks to this training, I secured a job at UNC Hospitals, where I gained valuable clinical experience that later helped me gain admission into medical school. One of my most memorable moments was during our clinicals when I was nervous about caring for patients. Mrs. Christy took extra time to work with me until I felt confident, and her support made all the difference in my success. -Hannah M
My time at CHAZ training school was short, sweet, and effective. I was able to learn all the skills I needed to succeed as a nursing assistant on a quick timeline after moving to the area. Ms. Christy and the other instructors are extremely dedicated to their students and take the time to ensure their students succeed. Since graduating from the program two years ago, I have been working as a nursing assistant in a behavioral health unit. This fall, I will be starting a Masters Program in Social Work. Without the strong foundation I received at CHAZ, this would not have been possible! -Kristin M
I loved my time at Chaz Training School! Their flexible hours allowed me to remain working full-time while getting my license, and I was taught by incredible teachers who valued the practice of skills and encouraged questions. Our clinical site allowed us to see hospital-based instead of nursing home-based working environments, which aligned with my goals of going to medical school. Additionally, the instructors and clinical site prepared me well for working on an in-patient surgical unit at Duke Hospital for over a year. I would not be starting medical school this summer if it wasn't for my time learning from Elizabeth and the amazing people at Chaz! -Jack W
